PGE seeks additional energy resources
PGE is moving forward with a request for proposals to acquire up to 218 average megawatts of renewable resources by 2014.
PGE will consider proposals based on a variety of structures and commercially viable renewable resource types. Acceptable bids include power purchase agreements as well as a range of ownership structures, including sales of existing assets, acquisition of project development or natural resource rights and options, build-own-transfer agreements and part ownership.
Other 2008 RFPs
PGE will address demand-side management proposals in an RFP to be issued later in 2008.
Consult the RFP Web site
PGE requests that all communications between prospective bidders and the utility be conducted through the RFP Web site maintained by PGE's independent evaluator, Accion Group.
See the site for the solicitation schedule, publicly available documents and announcements. You can also submit questions to PGE via the site; answers will be posted for all users. Note that certain information is restricted to registered users.
