Score One for Safety and Health at PGE Park
Aug. 4 event offers interactive safety displays, special guests and baseball

What: Seventh Annual Score One for Safety
This educational and interactive event brings together local nonprofit organizations and government agencies to teach children and their parents the importance of being safe and healthy. The festivities take place before the Nashville Sounds at Portland Beavers baseball game.

After entering the gates of PGE Park, children receive Safety and Health Scorecards and then visit exhibitor displays. After each visit, children earn stamps or stickers, and when they collect 12, their Safety and Health Scorecards may be redeemed for a special prize from PGE. Their completed scorecards also give them the opportunity to win a new bicycle and safety gear. And, the first 3,000 fans ages 14 and younger receive a free collectable metal lunchbox that features Larry the Lightbulb and Boomer the Beaver.
