 Pay Online. Why mail a check? It’s faster and easier to pay your PGE bill online direct from your checking account.
 Make sure all the relevant items on the checklist below have been completed before ordering UNITYSM multiple utility installation service.

  1. Have you provided locations for the electric meter, gas meter and telephone box on the same wall?
  2. Is your interior gas line installed and approved, with a green inspection sticker attached to the house line or furnace? If a crew shows up and this sticker is not in place, NW Natural will charge a $155 “wasted trip” fee.
  3. Has the permanent electrical been inspected by the appropriate city or county authority (look for the sticker on the meter base). If a Unity crew shows up and this sticker is not in place, PGE will charge a $100 “wasted trip” fee.
  4. Is your trench route clear? Is the lot near final grade? If the Unity crew shows up as scheduled and the route is not free of building materials or the lot is not near final grade, then PGE will charge $100 and NW Natural will charge $155 for a “wasted trip.”
  5. Is the breaker panel cover on?
  6. If the UNITY crew will be locating your water, sewer and rain drains, are your tracer wires exposed?
  7. If you are installing your own conduit, have you installed a conduit for both gas and electric service and has a pull string been installed in the electrical conduit?
If you’ve completed all of the above items, you’re ready to order.
