Getting started
We have complete instructions to guide you through the multi-step process for getting electric service. To begin, review our PGE Checklists for home builders and the more detailed instructions in Starting Electrical Service.

Our staff are available to consult with you when you're ready to get started. Call our service desk anytime between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. One of our Service and Design Consultants will be assigned to your project and will contact you within 48 hours to discuss next steps. Please allow for at least a 60-day planning period when making your initial call to request service.
