Have an outage plan in place
PGE is ready for windstorms and power outages. We encourage you to be prepared for power outages, too. Does your company have an outage response plan in place? Do your employees know what to do if the power goes out? It pays to know how to respond quickly.
Here are some points to get you started:
- Contact PGE immediately to report an outage. Make sure you have key PGE contact numbers handy and that you have a plan in place for who calls PGE.
- Have outage kits available and make sure select employees know where they are located.
- Check to make sure your backup generators are in good working order.
