Estimating Costs - Small Power Production

The costs involved in connecting your generation facility to PGE’s distribution and transmission systems vary greatly depending on the project type, size and location.

You are responsible for the installation, operation and maintenance of any switching equipment, relays, locks and seals, breakers, automatic synchronizers and other equipment necessary for the safe operation of the facility in parallel with the PGE system.

You are also responsible for any interconnection costs that you or PGE incur. Please review the interconnection requirements for your type of project for more information on your responsibilities and costs.

Will PGE help me with engineering?
PGE cannot undertake any engineering activities or design reviews except on a fee-for-service basis, including any engineering work for interconnections.
