PGE Starlight Parade float PGE cares about the vitality of local communities in the State of Oregon. That’s why we support a variety of civic projects and events and neighborhood fairs and festivals.

You’ll see us at:

  • Mt. Angel Oktoberfest
  • Keizer Iris Festival
  • Boardman Collage of Culture
  • Salem Art Festival
  • Tualatin Crawfish Festival and Concerts on the Commons
  • Mt. Hood Jazz Festival

These events not only bring people together to share good times, but they also celebrate diverse cultures and help build stronger communities.

PGE/SOLV Starlight Parade
Just as electricity from PGE lights up our nights, this parade lights up downtown Portland every spring as part of the annual Rose Festival.

As co-sponsors with SOLV, we take pride in maintaining this event as good, clean family fun. Each year, PGE employees and other volunteers march along the parade route distributing trash bags then collecting the filled bags, following the parade. That’s why it has repeatedly won the title of “Cleanest Parade in America.”

PGE Festival of Lights Holiday Parade
PGE is proud to sponsor what has quickly become a holiday tradition for Salem. Everyone turns out for this sparkling nighttime event — even Santa!

Families cuddle under warm blankets curbside throughout downtown Salem to wave and cheer as dozens of sparkling floats — including a lighted PGE truck — marching bands, equestrian teams and vintage cars cruise by. Learn more on the parade's Web site.
