Faraday Diversion Dam

Faraday Diversion Dam
Faraday Diversion Dam diverts part of the Clackamas River, sending it through a half-mile tunnel and a canal that runs another two-thirds of a mile into Faraday Lake. Cazadero Dam, which began operating in 1907, was originally constructed on this site. In 1965, a massive flood destroyed that dam, and Faraday was built as a replacement.
