Roslyn Lake
Roslyn Lake was created and has been supplied by the Marmot and Little Sandy dams. It will be drained in late spring or early summer 2008 after removal of the Little Sandy Dam; Marmot Dam was removed in summer/fall 2007. Once drained, the land will be restored to its natural contours and replanted with native vegetation to make a new protected area with expanded recreation opportunities.
Roslyn Lake Park is now permanently closed. The public can continue to access the lake from adjoining roads and the boat launch on the north shore until draining begins in late spring or early summer 2008.
