Pick paperless, help habitat
Thanks to all of our Paperless Bill customers — old and new — who voted recently in our “Pick Paperless, Help Habitat” promotion. A total of 1,483 Paperless customers helped direct a $20,000 PGE donation to four local nonprofit environmental groups that protect watersheds and restore fish and wildlife habitat.

    Even though PGE uses recycled/sustainably sourced paper, a paperless bill is still the more sustainable, earth-friendly choice.

    If 20 percent of U.S. households switched to electronic billing, statements and payments, every year the collective impact would:
    • Save more than 150 million pounds of paper.
    • Avoid creating more than 1.4 billion gallons of wastewater — enough water to fill 2,180 Olympic-size swimming pools.

Using your checking account, you can make a one-time payment or sign up for automatic monthly payments. It’s safe, secure and confidential.
