Meet our “I Do” Redo winners
Join us in celebrating the Rose Festival.

For their first date back in 1950, Ralph and Patricia Evans attended the Rose Festival Synchronized Swimming event at Civic Stadium (now PGE Park). Now married 57 years, they'll renew their wedding vows on the PGE float in the Rose Festival KeyBank Grand Floral parade. The Evans are just one of the three special couples chosen as winners in PGE's “I Do” Redo Contest. Thanks to the more than 100 couples who wrote in with their inspiring stories of love and commitment.

Meet our other winners
John and Denise Harding, of Happy Valley, are celebrating their 30th anniversary this June as they face one of the biggest challenges of their lives together.

Steve and Marilyn Fulton of Sherwood, married 21 years, met when Steve's naval ship visited Portland for the Rose Festival.

Read their heartwarming stories and learn why they are excited to redo their wedding vows in the Rose Festival KeyBank Grand Floral parade.

It's all fun and sustainability
Our “I Do” Redo Contest fits right in with PGE's Rose Festival sustainability focus.

We've sustained our support for the Rose Festival for many years — 101 to be exact. PGE is the longest-running sponsor and the only Portland-headquartered company that has participated in the Rose Festival every year since its creation.

PGE is proud to help make the Rose Festival the “cleanest & greenest” festival in America by:

  • Collaborating with SOLV to recruit hundreds of volunteers to clean up the PGE/SOLV Starlight and KeyBank Grand Floral parade routes
  • Purchasing carbon offsets equal to carbon emissions from parade vehicles
  • Purchasing renewable wind energy for the WaMu Waterfront Village

See you at the parades!
Join us at the PGE/SOLV Starlight Parade on May 31, and watch for our float with the “I Do” Redo winning couples in the Grand Floral Parade on June 7. Find more information on the Rose Festival Web site.
