If you enroll in Time of Use prior to Dec. 31, 2008, at the end of your first one-year term, PGE will calculate what you would have paid under the Basic Service rate and compare billings.

If your energy charge billings (including all applicable supplemental adjustments) under Time of Use exceed the Basic Service energy charge (including all applicable supplemental adjustments) by more than 10 percent, PGE will credit you the amount in excess of 10 percent on the total 12-month billing.

The monthly meter charge is excluded from the cost adjustment. No bill credit will be given if you do not meet the 12-month requirement.
