PGE/PGE Foundation ranked No. 7 among large companies, for its corporate giving to the community, at Portland Business Journal’s Corporate Philanthropy Awards.

Citizenship Award (July 2014)
Awarded by: SOLVE
SOLVE presented PGE with its Citizenship Award in the business category. The award recognized PGE and its employees as one of SOLVE’s longest-running supporters and for being key to SOLVE’s ongoing success.

Corporate Philanthropist of the Year (June 2014)

The American Red Cross Cascades Region presented PGE with its Corporate Philanthropist of the Year award in recognition of our outstanding partnership and philanthropic support.

Business Partner Award (June 2014)
Awarded by: Marylhurst University
Marylhurst University presented PGE the Business Partner Award for our support of education organizations and for our consistent efforts to extend and elevate education opportunities for students of all ages to further their education and increase their professional growth.

CARE Advocate Award (April 2014)
Awarded by: Portland Opportunities Industrialization Center, Inc.
Portland Opportunities Industrialization Center, Inc. presented PGE/PGE Foundation the CARE Advocate Award to honor our history of providing opportunities for the best and brightest youth and effort to encourage and train young men and women for work in the utilities by supporting programs that build trade skills and engage students in math, science and engineering.

Governor’s Volunteer Award (April 2014)
Awarded by: Oregon Volunteers Commission
The Multnomah County Gatekeeper Program nominated PGE in the Large Business Volunteer Program category of the Governor’s Volunteer Awards, in appreciation of our longstanding partnership. PGE customer support staff is trained to identify older and disabled adults who may need help when they’re talking with customers, and they refer them to the Gatekeeper Referral Line, when appropriate. PGE employees have made more than 1,000 referrals since the program started in 1987.

Best places to work for LGBT equality (April 2014)
Awarded by: Human Rights Campaign Foundation
PGE received the top score of 100% for the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s Corporate Equality Index, which rates workplaces on lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender equality.
