Professional
Financial Analyst I − A new college graduate with a degree in finance, accounting or a related field.
Financial Analyst II − A degree with typically three to five years of experience
Financial Analyst III − A degree with typically at least eight years of experience

Trades
Pre-apprentice − This is the entry point to a career in the line trade. You get experience and training in transmission and distribution work. Pre-Apprentices achieve milestones over a two-year period. If successful, the next career step is an apprentice lineman.
Apprentice − Line apprenticeships are offered to qualified Pre-Apprentices based on achievement of milestones and seniority. Completing an apprenticeship typically takes four years.
Journeyman Lineman − A tradesperson who has completed a qualified lineman apprentice program. This career path provides competitive pay and benefits and an opportunity to provide a valuable service to our customers.

Generation Plants
Plant Equipment Operator Trainee − Train to become a qualified plant equipment operator at one of our power generation plants. Must be able to read, write and comprehend technical plant material associated with the job. Typical progression to a Plant Equipment Operator position occurs within 18 months.
Plant Equipment Operator − Operate and monitor operation of power plant equipment. Completion of PGE’s in-house training program is required to qualify. Rotating shift work is a nature of this position.
Shift Supervisor − Manage and lead the Plant Equipment Operators and Trainees. Typically requires experience as a Plant Equipment Operator with leadership and management experience.
