Sania Radcliffe appointed PGE director of government affairs


PORTLAND, Ore. — Portland General Electric (NYSE:POR) recently appointed Sania “Sunny” Radcliffe to director of government affairs overseeing PGE’s federal, regional state and local government policy matters. Radcliffe previously held the position of supervisor of federal and regional relations at PGE.

“In Sunny’s 10 years with PGE, she has provided excellent leadership in developing and executing successful public policy positions on behalf of our customers, employees, shareholders and the communities we serve,” said Dave Robertson, vice president of public policy, PGE.

Radcliffe’s responsibilities as director of government affairs include public policy development and analysis relating to a variety of government entities, including the Oregon Legislature and the U.S. Congress.

Prior to her supervisor role at PGE, Radcliffe was a federal and regional policy specialist at PGE. Previously Radcliffe was general counsel for Tree of Life Adoption Center and the executive director of Oregon Women Lawyers. She also worked as a law clerk in PGE’s legal department.

Radcliffe serves on the board of the Northwest Energy Coalition and volunteers with the Portland Symphonic Girlchoir.  Radcliffe holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of Washington and a law degree from Northwestern School of Law of Lewis & Clark College.
