Our default billing option, Basic Service rates are based directly on the costs PGE incurs in providing electric service. You will continue on Basic Service automatically unless you select another option.

PGE offers an alternate rate structure for those who want to control their energy bills by using energy on off-peak hours. The Time of Use rate differs by time of day, day of week and season.
