Class description

One of the reasons to test HVAC systems is to assess the operating efficiency of existing systems and to help you make the best energy-efficiency decisions . For example, let’s say you have a few chillers at your facility that aren’t operating at optimum levels. How do you decide which course of action to take? Using the learning from our class, A Guide to Energy Management Systems, we will help you make smart, cost-effective decisions to increase energy savings at your facility.

This class will help you:

  • Understand testing and data acquisition tools
  • Evaluate testing package units
  • Assess testing air handling systems
  • Analyze testing chilled water systems

Who will benefit?

  • Building operators
  • Maintenance technicians and supervisors
  • Central plan operators
  • Facility and energy managers
  • Property managers

David Wylie, P.E., Vice President ASWB Engineering
With an engineering degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and an MBA from National University, David is able to analyze energy-efficiency investments from both a mechanical and financial perspective.
