For more than 125 years, we’ve been powering Oregonians at work and at home. Our history is entwined with the region’s history, and nowhere is that truer than along the Clackamas River.
One example is River Mill dam. Rail lines built to carry workers and materials to the construction site also brought tourism to the region, leading to the founding of the city of Estacada.
As the oldest operating Ambursen dam on the West Coast, River Mill also marked a turning point toward more efficient use of raw materials in dam construction.
