New Deal Distillery makes hand sanitizer for essential PGE workers
With hand sanitizer disappearing off the shelves faster than toilet paper, PGE teamed up with New Deal Distillery to keep employees safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.
New Deal Distillery, located in Portland, received approval from the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau to produce hand sanitizer to help with fill the gap during the pandemic. We’re partnering with them to buy 260 gallons for team members to use while on the job. This is crucial, especially during a time like this, and helps ensure our employees stay safe and our customers get the power they need, when they need it.
Kudos to New Deal Distillery. Thank you for coming through for us and the community.
