Because everyone deserves a home

PGE Foundation focusing on the homeless crisis.

The PGE Foundation — Portland General Electric’s corporate foundation — is celebrating 20 years of working to help make Oregon a better place.

To commemorate this milestone, the PGE Foundation awarded financial grants this fall to a number of organizations helping address the homeless crisis in our region.

These grants will help fund new housing, a new health clinic, provide social services and support families' housing needs. The goal is to help families create stable environments where children can grow and thrive.

It’s so heartening the PGE Foundation recognizes the importance housing plays in a healthy community,” said Ed Blackburn of Central City Concern, which received one of the foundation’s largest grants. They are using the grant to help Portland families in need of new housing and healthcare services.
