Summer fun is waiting for you at PGE parks & campgrounds
That’s a great question. Thanks for asking.
Q. Why does PGE own parks? Where are they located, and what activities can I do there?
We’re committed to being good environmental stewards of the rivers adjacent to our hydroelectric plants. We offer parks and campgrounds to help fulfill that responsibility and to give back to the community.
We have one park along the Columbia River, six parks along the Clackamas River and up at Mt. Hood, and several more spots over in Central Oregon. They provide you terrific opportunities to get outside, get active and enjoy the beauty of Oregon.
Activities, which vary by park, include:
- Boating, kayaking and stand-up paddle-boarding – including rentals and tours at some locations
- Picnicking – including group picnic sites
- Wildlife viewing
- Playgrounds, ball fields, disc golf and swimming
- Junior Ranger program
See our Parks & Campgrounds section for a map, park descriptions, a complete list of amenities and reservation information.
