New renewables projects to serve our communities
The PGE Renewable Development Fund makes an impact
Did you know that when you choose Green FutureSM, you’re also supporting the Renewable Development Fund? The RDF offers competitive funding awards to clean energy projects right here in our communities.
So far, the RDF has awarded more than $14 million to 56 projects throughout our area, resulting in more than 13 MW of new renewable energy generation. Past projects include a solar installation at a multifamily property to help keep rent affordable for low-income families; an integrated solar array and renewables curriculum at a Boys & Girls Club; and a budget-saving solar installation at a fire station.
Last year, the RDF funded projects at arts centers, fire stations, health centers, public safety buildings and much more.
