Improving electric reliability in your neighborhood
This summer, we’ll be in Hollybrook installing new, upgraded underground power lines to help minimize repairs, increase reliability, improve overall system operations and prepare the grid for smarter technologies.
What to expect
Construction is likely to last several weeks in each highlighted area on the map below and will require digging into streets, sidewalks and planter strips. These will get restored as quickly as possible.
We will also provide onsite traffic control to minimize delays.
Sections A through D are on track for this year, with sections E through H to follow in 2019.
- Construction hours: 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday
- If we need to briefly disconnect your power, we will leave a notice on your door at least 48 hours in advance.
- Crews may be from PGE or Potelco, one of our contractors. They all carry PGE identification.
When electrical equipment or trenches are exposed, crews will be on-site at all times.
When crews are off-site at night or on weekends, all electrical equipment, trenches and potholes will be covered and barricaded to ensure your safety.
Please stay away from any electrical equipment and cables, and make sure children know to never touch any electrical equipment.
We appreciate your patience during this construction. If you have any questions, call us at 503-612-3730.
