Do your medical needs require electricity? If so, make sure you have a plan in case of a power outage.
No one can predict when an outage might happen. Whether you depend on life-support or other medical equipment or refrigeration for life-sustaining medications, it’s important that you’re prepared.
That may include owning a backup generator or making sure you have a way to relocate temporarily during an extended outage. It also means having an outage kit and communication plan in place. See our printable medical needs brochure for more.
Please remember that while PGE works to restore power as quickly as possible to all customers, it is the responsibility of the customer to have a backup system and plan in place in the event of a power outage or other emergency.
